Highbury Players were due to present Deep Cut by Philip Ralph when theatres had to close their doors for the first lockdown.
The play concerns the death of 18-year old Private Cheryl James who was one of four young soldiers to die at Deepcut Barracks between 1995 and 2002. The play traces her parents’ struggle to establish the truth behind her death.
We have been working on an alternative presentation of the production which we will show at 7.30pm on 11th and 12th June. We have made an audio recording of the play which will be accompanied by images from the final dress rehearsal and would like to invite you to join us, listen to the story and see what the play would have looked like.
Tickets are £5 per person plus £2 if you’re not already a member for the season.
