A New Musical by E. J. O. Cruxton

and also a matinee performance on Saturday 14 November @ 2:30 pm
A far cry from the cosy story we all know…
A conquered land. An oppressed people. An existence lived in fear. A baby is born.
Incarnate is a story that seems familiar… Miriam is told by a stranger that she is pregnant with God’s baby. Her fiancé leaves her but is convinced to return. They must undertake a perilous journey to Bethlehem, but there is nowhere for them to stay.
But what is the story? What does it mean? A land of fear longing for freedom. A regime who will do anything to maintain power. Their only hope: a small, vulnerable baby who must be protected at all cost.
This moving sung-through musical resets the narrative into a familiar world, one where autocrats rule through fear and violence. In dark times, will hope win through?
