Pricing and Membership

Highbury Theatre is a membership organisation and we have several levels of membership.

Centre and Audience Membership 

The season’s membership fee of £2 enables you to purchase tickets for all Highbury plays, use all of the theatre’s facilities and receive emailed newsletters to keep you fully up-to-date. 

Your £2 Centre and Audience Membership for the season will typically be paid on your first visit during the season and you will receive a membership card with your membership number on it. You will need your membership number to buy tickets online.

Membership renewals

Memberships expire on 31 July. The easiest way for a Centre and Audience member to renew their membership is to buy their first ticket at the non-member price as this includes the membership fee. You will then need to let Box Office know you have done this (usually by collecting your membership card from the Box Office when you come to the theatre) so that we can manually update your membership expiry date. This will then allow you to buy your ticket for other Highbury Players’ productions in the season at the member price.

Group membership

If you book 15 or more tickets at a time, you can take out a group membership.  For more information, email boxoffice@highburytheatre.co.uk.

Membership of Highbury Players 

The annual membership fee is £15 or £6 for people entitled to concessions (under 16, student, unwaged, over 60). Membership of the Players includes all the benefits of centre and audience membership. All those acting on stage need to be members of Highbury Players.

Many of those volunteering in the all-important off-stage roles are also members of Highbury Players. For more information, email players-membership@highburytheatre.co.uk.

Tickets for Highbury Players’ plays are £12. 

Season vouchers

Books of Season Vouchers are on sale to members for a limited period in August/September each year, costing £70. They’re withdrawn after the first production ends.

Each book has one voucher for each of Highbury Players’ seven plays in the main auditorium, which can then be exchanged only at the Box Office for a ticket for the play. There are only 100 books available.

See every show for £10 per seat.

Buy your vouchers from the Box Office. Either call in on Monday evenings or Wednesday mornings or ring 0121 373 2761 and leave a message giving your name and phone number on the answerphone if we’re not open and we’ll ring you back when we’re next in. 

You can then book your tickets in advance to ensure a seat on your preferred night.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers for tickets can also be purchased for £14 from the box office. This includes Centre and Audience Membership for the remainder of the season the voucher is used.
