to raise funds for  Highbury Theatre’s Development

A sponsored 9 hour DRAMATHON guaranteed to give you non-stop exciting entertainment is happening on Saturday 11 August, beginning at 11am and finishing at 8.00 p.m.

This ambitious event, an enormous and slightly scary, fun way to raise money for Highbury Theatre’s plans to rebuild the bar, coffee shop and catering facilities.

No less than 60 members of the Highbury Players will be taking part.

Each participant will be doing a ten minute stint, and will then be interrupted by the next, taking the unfolding drama in an entirely new direction.  There will be opportunity for audience participation too.

The Players Chairman said “We are aiming to create a great festival atmosphere for all who come on the day.  Our regular audiences will recognize many of the performers but there will also be new faces and there is still room for more participants from Players and Audience members.”
